Product Description
Nature’s Superfoods’ Organic Premium Ceylon Cinnamon Powder hails from Sri Lanka. There are various grades of Ceylon Cinnamon Powder available out there and we have chosen the premium grade that is delightfully fragrant and naturally mildly sweet. This superfood has also passed stringent lab checks on heavy metals such as lead levels.
Ceylon Cinnamon, also called true cinnamon, is a better and purer cinnamon variety than the more common and cheaper cinnamon variety (Cassia cinnamon) due to its rarity, delicately sweet flavor, and much lower coumarin content. High levels of coumarin in Cassia cinnamon carry health risks (blood thinning and toxic) if consumed in large amounts.
The mildly sweet, full-bodied flavor of Ceylon Cinnamon makes it ideal for desserts, beverages, smoothies, and baking recipes.
